Cool how Sting goes "Come on Vinnie" and he pulls out a killer fill. Was a pleasure to listen to this.

Sorry to dissapoint you, but Sting says "Come on Vinnie" at that point every time and Vinnie does the same 16th note triplet DB fill every time! In fact it's the only time I think I've ever heard Vinie repeat himself. [img]wink.gif[/img]

.....anyway, at the moment I'm doing a load of corporate pop gigs leading up to Christmas. It's a joy as I'm playing with fantastic musicians and singers every night and my kit is set up on stage permenantly, so I don't have to move it after every gig. What a bonus!!

The only thing is that after the gig on Saturday I have to shift it as somebody called STING is coming in to the venue on Monday to do a charity gig. I asked tonight if there was any chance of me sneaking in and sitting by the sound guys, but the answer was no as a different company is laying it on. [img]frown.gif[/img]

So I guess I'll have to ak one of the guys to keep a moist towlette that Sting used as a momento!! [img]wink.gif[/img]

Hi dazzler. tis a damn shame that you cannot stay for the sting gig. are the P.A guys different than the ones doing your gig? i'm doing the corporate thing at the mo - i have to travel birmingham tomorrow - should be fun - are you playing in a scratch band or is it ongoing?

Hey Drumkid, to be honest I dunno if he's bringing his own sound guys in. The sound system and gear they've got in the place is ridiculous; It's a big venue. As for the band, we're not an outfit as such, we all freelance but do find ourselves playing together on and off.

There has to be a way to hook up an adapter cable[s] up from the back of the VCR's 3 outputs [L/R aud, & vid], into the back of the PC...if one had some aud-vid recording/transfer software, such as the one I have, CWPA9.

His upper torso was nearly turned 1/2 the way around, it seemed. After around what was prob only about 5 or more seconds [seemed longer], he just calmly turned back around & reinserted the LH on the sn, as if nothing had happened, esp considering the looks he'd had on his face. One of those "cool little musician moments" for Geraldo, Maury, or Montel. Priceless.

Now to you old pros, that won't seem to exciting.
